Kate Dunn is a London based artist. Since 2018 she has worked using structures reminiscent of the altar, interested in the internal archive one experiences when faced with such an iconic shape. Concerned with our potential to be passive in the age of information overload; walk into a gallery, stand in front of a work, look for two minutes, take a photo, move on. She uses site-specific installation and multi sensory experience to manipulate the work, creating a kind of confrontation with the viewer.
